Running principle
The spots
can be achieved through a continuous process on SUPERBAs MCD
machine which utilises 6 individual dyeing heads. In the case of micro
and short spaces, the result can be either five colours for the effects
plus one for the background or in the case of long spaces 6 effect colours.

Each dyeing head is provided with a revolving open-work disc, which applies the dyestuff onto a 48-yarn sheet.
Each sequence for the application of dyestuff is electronically programmed and the yarn image/appearance as well as the final surface appearance in carpet form can be simulated on the display prior to manufacture due to a 3-D interface.
The MCD
multi-colour dyeing machine allows any material to be dyed at a production
rate which can reach up to 400 KGs per hour.
In the case of dyeing plain colour yarns, this can be achieved
using the same machine with the addition of a special dyeing head type
mono-colour - CDM.
